Have you always hoped for longer, thicker, darker eyelashes? LATISSE® is the first FDA-approved and clinically proven treatment to give you the dramatic lashes you’ve always wanted.
Our optometrist, Dr. Baldwin, has ample experience with LATISSE®. In addition to her expert knowledge in eye health, she can counsel you on how to use LATISSE®, its requirements, and what to expect while using it.
Working together, you and Dr. Baldwin will monitor the changes to your eyelashes throughout your LATISSE® treatments, and your eye health at regular intervals to ensure that you are not encountering uncomfortable side effects.
LATISSE® is not recommended for everyone, so you should meet with Dr. Baldwin for an eye health assessment and consultation to ensure it’s a good fit for you.

Yes! LATISSE® is not your typical “miracle supplement.” It is clinically proven (actually) to increase eyelash thickness and length gradually. It does this by lengthening the eyelash growth cycle, encouraging the eyelash to gain length and thickness as it progresses through its natural growth cycle.
LATISSE® contains bimatoprost (also released under the brand name Lumigan), which is the primary active ingredient that facilitates eyelash enhancement. How bimatoprost encourages this growth is not yet certain. However, the effects are apparent: it increases the length of the anagen phase (growth phase) of the eyelash, and it encourages more hairs to grow during this phase.
LATISSE® treatments are gradual and may take up to 16 weeks (4 months) to see full results. But these results are remarkable!
To see these complete results, you must apply LATISSE® every night for the entire period. If you stop using LATISSE®, your lashes will eventually return to their normal appearance.
As with all medications, there is a small chance of experiencing side effects from LATISSE®. Clinical studies have shown that less than 4% of users experience negative side effects. These side effects include:
Dr. Baldwin will assess your eyes at regular intervals to ensure you are responding favorably to treatment.
If you develop a new ocular condition or reaction during your LATISSE® treatments, such as a sudden decrease in visual acuity or infection, please book an appointment to see Dr. Baldwin as soon as you are able.
I am very pleased with my experience from entry to exit. I’m so happy I followed through with my friend’s referral to see Dr. Baldwin. Dr. Baldwin was very thorough and efficient and so friendly and listened to my concerns and wishes regarding contacts. The staff is great as well. Anna is very patient and understanding! She listened to my concerns from a few past experiences and took everything into consideration to best fit my needs for Rx sunglasses. For me, ordering Rx sunglasses is very difficult. I’m very happy to be a patient at The Eye Gallery.
Megan Baldwin always does an amazing job with my kids! She is always super friendly, patient, and understanding and makes them feel comfortable! I highly recommend her and her wonderful staff!
Everyone in the office is friendly and professional. I needed help to choose a frame and they all helped me with good advice. The office is clean and working with COVID requirements to provide protection to all customers and workers there.
